2016 Great Pittsburg Cleanup

The Great Clean up of April 2016  ~~ Thank you to all the volunteers that braved the horrific winds to clean up Kirker Creek along the Martin Luther King Jr. spillway.  The volunteers picked out the following from the creek:

16 cubic yard of yucky debris; 11 tires; 20 shopping carts; a couple chairs; glass mirror; PVC piping; plastic toys; dolly; saw; alternator; and roofing material.  Amazing!

The Partners for the Watershed and the City of Pittsburg invites you to join us to clean up Kirker Creek!
The next Great Pittsburg Cleanup to be announced soon. When posted, please help us plan by registering at 925-252-4114 or just show up! Wear appropriate shoes and clothes for possible wet, muddy conditions and or tall vegetation.

Groups please RSVP! (So we can stock gloves & snacks.) Volunteer Release Form and Photo Release required on day of the event. If under 18, parent signature will be required. Service Credits available for graduation!
