This 5 acre neighborhood park was dedicated to Larry Lasater who died in the line of duty serving the community on April 24, 2005. Larry was a Pittsburg Police Officer and there is a plaque honoring him next to the playground. The playground area is called Cody’s Corner, for Larry’s unborn first son at the time of his passing. This park is located at the corner of Rancho Bernado and Santa Teresa and offer unforgettable views of the Delta.

The park has a joint use agreement with the neighboring school and many children use the park for recess and P.E. Cody’s Corner features a tot lot playground (ages 2-5), two baby swings, two picnic tables with BBQ pits, benches and a pet friendly drinking fountain. There are also 3 other picnic sites with picnic tables, BBQ pits and trash receptacles. These picnic sites all offer spectacular views and are a great place to escape and have lunch. Other amenities include a multi-purpose soccer/baseball field, lighted concrete paths and a lawn amphitheater.
