Meetings are generally on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 65 Civic Avenue, Pittsburg.

The Planning Commission conducts public meetings related to specified aspects of the physical development of the City. In particular, it holds hearings on the review of subdivisions and use permits, including conditions for approval. It also reviews architectural, landscape, and site plans for development projects, and makes recommendations to the City Council on rezoning applications, and amendments to the City’s General Plan, Zoning and Sign Ordinances.

Residents having a basic understanding of real estate development, land use and zoning, or building design and construction are encouraged to apply.
