EB 5 Regional Center Designation
In June of 2009 the City of Pittsburg became part of the East Bay Regional Center. The Regional Center Program was approved by the Federal Government to stimulate economic activity and create jobs, while allowing eligible foreign investors the opportunity to invest in projects and obtain lawful permanent residency.

Designation as a Regional Center allows the City of Pittsburg to recruit foreign investment for specific projects within the Regional Center’s contiguous geographic area, resulting in money and jobs for the areas economy. The foreign investor (EB5 Alien Entrepreneur) is able to obtain a green card through the program.
