Environmental (CEQA) Review Information
The City is generally the Lead Agency for projects within its jurisdiction. Being the Lead Agency means overseeing the environmental review process for all projects requiring a decision to be made at the discretion of the City Council or Planning Commission. The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is the environmental review process for the City, and it provides a means to inform City decision-makers about potential environmental impacts that would result from a project.
